Red handled Kitchen Ware was especially popular in the 1930s & 1940s

The red striped cookbook from the 1940s sits on top of a wooden recipe box. It shares that spot with wit a metal lion cookie cutter that has a red handle.

To the right is a rubber spatula also with a red handle  and an egg beater, Does anyone else still own one of these?

Also included in this ensemble is a crocheted hot pad and a metal biscuit cutter.Yes, with a red handle.
